1921-1940 My Father Edward O. (Bud) Fields and my Grand Father built wood commercial fishing boats in Juneau, Alaska.

1963 First boat built in Preston, WA a wood commercial fishing boat named the Linda after my Mother.

| 1965 Shop was built that we reside in now. |
1966 The first boat was built in our currant shop. |
| 1965-1979 My Father worked commercial fishing and as cannery foreman in Naknek, Alaska. Several fiberglass boats were built during this time. | |
| 1979 My Father Started building aluminum commercial fishing boats under the company name Eskimo Boats. I worked with him over the next nine years building 114 boats. |

| 1988 I started my own company building boats sharing the shop with my Father under the name Fields Boats. I built primarily large fishing boats for Alaska. |

| 1991 The company name changed to Fields Fabrication. |
1997 My Father retired from building boats at age 76.
1998 My company incorporated and the product line
TUFF BOAT was born. We entered the sport
fishing market with two new models the WB and the RW.

Present Fields Fabrication Corporation "TUFF BOAT " owned and operated by Edward O. Fields has maintained the tradition of craftsmanship hand building one boat at a time.
